How the Beverly HillsDiet works for weight loss

The Beverly Hills weight loss diet is a 35 day diet that claims a person will lose 10 to 15 pounds by following rules on eating specific foods at the same time or in a certain order each day. The Beverly Hills weight loss diet relies heavily on fruits; fruits are the only foods permitted in the first 10 days. According to the diet, papaya softens body fat, pineapple burns it off, and watermelon flushes it out of the body. The Beverly Hills weight loss diet recommends eating fruit by itself and never eating protein with carbohydrates in order for food to be properly digested and not stored as fat. The Beverly Hills weight loss diet specifies items to be eaten at each meal without counting calories.

Advantages of the Beverly HillsDiet for weight loss

The initial weight loss from the Beverly Hills diet may be rapid and many people like following a very structured meal plan. The Beverly Hills weight loss diet is also well liked by people who hate counting calories and are tired of eating low-fat foods.

Disadvantages of the Beverly HillsDiet for weight loss

The Beverly Hills weight loss diet relies on extremely narrow meal guidelines and is not based on significant scientific evidence. The Beverly Hills diet is dangerously low in protein and several essential vitamins and minerals. The Beverly Hills weight loss diet is considered by some to be monotonous, unhealthy, and requiring too much fruit. The Beverly Hills diet may cause diarrhea as a side effect and the weight loss is hard to maintain since much of it is water weight. The Beverly Hills diet makes claims about combining and separating certain foods because of their special properties but combining food in certain weight does not change their calorie content.
