How the Blood Type Diet works for weight loss

 

The blood type weight loss diet is based on the theory that if a person follows a specific weight loss diet based on their blood type, they will improve digestion and lose weight. The blood type diet also suggests that there is an association between certain blood types and specific diseases. The theory suggests that if a person eats the right foods for their blood type, they may be able to help prevent certain diseases. On the blood type weight loss weight loss diet, each of the four blood types, A, B, AB, and O, has a very detailed list of foods that must be avoided. This is based on the ideas that each blood type has its own unique antigen marker that reacts in a negative way with certain foods and that a person's ability to digest foods varies depending on blood type. The blood type diet suggests that type A's should be vegetarians, type B's should eat a varied diet, type AB's should eat some meat but not cured or smoked meats, and type O's should eat meat but no grains. The blood type diet also gives suggestions on what type of exercise would be most beneficial to a person depending on their blood type.

 

Advantages of the Blood Type Diet for weight loss

 

A person may like the blood type diet if they like following a strict diet plan. The blood type diet gives specific guidelines for foods amounts, and timing of meals. The blood type diet may also be popular with people who do not like counting calories or fat grams.

 

Disadvantages of the Blood Type Diet for weight loss

 

Some people may find it difficult to stay within the blood type diet's confines given there is a long list of foods to avoid. The blood type diet may also be difficult for families to follow if family members have different blood types. Some experts have suggested that the blood type diet may also be harmful because certain blood types are encouraged to eat large quantities of meat which can cause fat build up and leave the person too full to eat other crucial foods. They also suggest that each of the four blood type diet plans eliminates specific food groups which can result in nutrient deficiency.
