How the Jenny Craig Diet Program works for weight loss

The Jenny Craig diet is a diet program that is based on eating well-balanced Jenny Craig pre-packaged meals and meeting one-on-one with a Jenny Craig counselor each week. The Jenny Craig diet program claims that the personal consultations are a fundamental part of the program as they help promote weight loss by motivating the client and assisting with behavior changes associated with a healthier lifestyle. The Jenny Craig diet program does not seem to consider exercise to be an essential part of weight loss for a person following their program. There is no limit set on how long a person should remain on the Jenny Craig diet.

Advantages of the Jenny Craig Diet Program for weight loss

The Jenny Craig diet program may be popular with many people as the pre-packaged frozen meals are convenient and well-balanced. The Jenny Craig diet program is also flexible as there are many different meal options for a person following the diet to choose from. The Jenny Craig diet program may also be popular with people who depend on outside support as there are personal consultations every week. People who followed the Jenny Craig diet program usually experienced weight loss.

Disadvantages of the Jenny Craig Diet Program for weight loss

Because it is encouraged for people following the Jenny Craig diet program to buy the pre-packaged meals, the program may be quite expensive and hard for some people to afford. Since the meals for the Jenny Craig diet program are already prepared, it may be hard for a person to choose their own healthy, low-calorie foods once they leave the program. People who like to diet on their own without any outside support may not prefer the Jenny Craig diet program because of the weekly consultations.
